We had the most wonderful time Memorial Day weekend out in Erda with my family. My parents watched Chloe while I was able to take Brad to Sostanza for some amazing food for his birthday and then go to the Motor-Vu Drive-in. It was so much fun to spend time with family again and enjoy all the critters. Chloe loved roaming the yard during the few hours we had of sunshine. It's been amazing how much rain we've been getting here in Utah. We measured 3 inches in Erda just in the 3 days we spent there. Wow!

A day at Grandma and Grandpa Falkners! Chloe loved the goats, dogs, wide open spaces, and (of course) the kitties. Her favorite cat is Ruan, which is Gaelic for "Little red one". We call him "Ru Kitty". My dad cleaned out the ATV trailer and put Chloe in it for a fun adventure. I got to ride on the back of the ATV and watch Chloe point at things and reach out trying to grab flowers and branches. That night we all enjoyed watching the season finale of the Biggest Loser. It's definitely a family favorite show.

Today was another great day. I was able to get a lot done and have lots of play time with Chloe. I made oatmeal raisin cookies for Brad because they're his favorite. We can't believe how much it has been raining the last week or so. It's like we moved to Oregon :) Our one day of sunshine was lucky enough to be when we attended the Thanksgiving Point Auto Show last Saturday.

I PASSED MY MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTION EXAM!! I'm so incredibly happy and excited! I can't wait to start applying for jobs. It's going to be wonderful for me to be able to work at home and still be a stay-at-home mom for Chloe.
These two pictures were taken tonight at Jump On It where Brad's work had a party with all the families. It was an absolute blast and I loved how a whole section was made just for us adults. Chloe liked bouncing around but was a little intimidated by the countless other kids and how big the place was. They even had a climbing wall coming up and out of a giant foam pit!

Today has been a super productive day and I'm feelin' great! I organized and decorated Chloe's new room as well as Brad and I's room. It took all day and I'm really excited to show Brad when he gets home from work. I also gave Chloe traditional pigtails for the first time since her hair is finally long enough. She's so cute!! I think she looks really grown up too. Check out the pictures!

We just got back from our trip to Las Vegas! It was so wonderful to see Brad's parents again and especially Krista who was on her way home from her mission in the Philippines. We drove to Vegas on Thursday and spent all day Friday with the family before they got back on the plane Friday night. We relaxed in the hotel room, visited the Las Vegas temple, went to Barnes and Noble, and ate some really good Mexican food. After checking out of the hotel this morning (Circus Circus) and before hitting the road again I rode their big roller coaster 3 times in a row. I had 4 free tickets but I stopped after 3 so be sure I didn't loose my cookies :) It was really fun. The drive back home seemed a lot shorter than the trip out and Chloe was the perfect angel both times.

It's the middle of May and we're being pounded by hail and rain! It love this kind of weather, as long as I don't have to go venturing forth in it. I had to take a picture because it was so cool and I opened our windows so I could hear and smell it. I love the smell of rain. Today is super exciting because I'm packing for our trip down to Las Vegas tomorrow!!! Tonight Brad and I are going to make a fun trip to Walmart together and pick up a few things like snacks for the ride down. We're so excited to see Brad's parents again and his sister, Krista, who is flying home from her mission in the Philippines!

Happy Mother's Day everyone!! We had the most wonderful day at our new ward today. They are the most welcoming people and I'm so happy to be a part of this family ward. Chloe was so cute in her Easter dress but was definitely full of energy. She was almost impossible to keep in our laps and by the time Chloe and I went to Relief Society together I just let her roam the room and visit all the other ladies. She was super cute but very mischievous as she took a baby's toy, took someones piece of chocolate, played a couple keys on the piano, and took another baby's binky out of his mouth and then shove it back in. It's going to be a long 3 months before she enters primary class. :) I really appreciated everyone's understanding that she was just a couple months short of primary and too energetic to stay in our laps for 3 hours. By the end of class, the contents of my purse were scattered all around my chair, my purse was at the other end of the room, and my wallet had been emptied of all my cards, ID's, family photos, and everything else you could imagine. Of course, it didn't help that I was feeding her chocolate the whole time but I did it to keep her awake since she was tired and a little cranky when we first got there. Now Chloe is asleep and Brad and I are relaxing. Yay for an awesome Sunday!!

Today was a marvelous day! The first part was not so fun because this morning Brad helped pack up for our friends, the Dodges, who left today to live in Washington. We sure will miss them. Chloe and I went to a neighborhood breakfast party at the nearby park and feasted upon pancakes, french toast (my favorite!), bacon, and lots of other classic breakfast amazingness. We got to meet several people who are members of our new ward and who were positively the nicest people ever. I'm so excited to be in this new family ward and make friends with people from all walks of life. Brad and I are especially excited that we can go to church together, sit together, and come home together!! Yipeee!! I couldn't believe how warm it was today! We actually had our AC on in the house for a couple hours. These pictures are of Chloe hanging out with Brad on the floor. She has such a little personality. Today I also received flowers in the mail from my dad for Mother's Day! They are so beautiful and they came with chocolate!!! Thank you, Dad (and Mom too)!!!

Hello! It's such an amazingly beautiful day today! Yesterday we had a fun dinner with our student married ward as a last hurrah now that it is dissolved and we are all to enter family wards, except for a few couples who live closer to the university campuses. Brad and I are really excited to enter a family ward and have lots more youth and more diversity.
Last night we helped Jared move his stuff into his new apartment now that school is over. It's nice to get the place to ourselves but we'll continue to hang out with him a lot. Needless to say, Chloe is moved into her new room and we're loving it! Even she seems to notice the upgrade.
Tonight Chloe and I are going jogging at the recreation center with Kenzie and Brad is going to a concert with his buddy, Russ. I'm glad he's getting a fun man night.
Chloe has started to enjoy putting things on her head, whether she can see through them or not. I think she likes the attention we give her when she does it.

Here are a few pictures from my sister's baby shower last Saturday! It was so fun and she got so many cute things for her expected baby boy.

We all had such a great weekend in Erda with my family! We drove up early Saturday morning and Chloe and I went to my sister Alyssa's baby shower, which was so fun and I'll be sure to post pictures asap. The rest of the weekend was spent with a huge BBQ to commemorate Brad and Corey graduating with their bachelor's degrees. Chloe had so much fun with all the kitties, horses, and goats, but of course her favorite part was spending time with her grandparents. The first picture posted here is of my mom during one of her dressage competitions, even though it wasn't from this past weekend.
