Random pictures

I just found some random pictures of Chloe that I realized I should post on the blog. I'll give numbered descriptions. 1) A pic Chloe made off Brad's phone, 2) Chloe hanging out at Grandma and Grandpa's house in her boots, Brad's old jacket, and her riding helmet that she loves to wear, 3) Brad and Chloe inside a tank at the Tennessee Aquarium, 4) Chloe and Grandpa having fun in the office, and 5) Brad, Chloe, and I inside a dome-viewing seat at the Tennessee Aquarium.

Chloe's 2nd Birthday Party!

Last Saturday we celebrated Chloe's 2nd birthday with a little family party. We gave her a bedroom makeover and had pizza with cake and ice cream (all her favorites). She's become addicted to The Lion King so I made her a Lion King themed cake. It was so fun and Chloe looked like a princess in the beautiful dress Aunt Alyssa made for her at Christmas. I made a fun little movie of her birthday party and uploaded it to YouTube for the family to see. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsfjnqu3AxI&feature=youtu.be

We're expecting!!

Before my last post I completely forgot to mention that I'm pregnant! We're expecting baby number 2! We are obviously very excited. Last Friday I had my first prenatal appointment, which went very well and we even got an ultrasound. It's not much of a picture since the baby is so small but I like to call it "the nugget" since that's exactly what it looks like. So, here's a not-so-baby-esk picture of our baby. My due date is August 6. Whahoo!

Oops

Happy New Years Everyone!! Last night Brad and I had a fun time celebrating by going to the theater and seeing In Time, which turned out to be a really fun movie. On our way home, we stopped at Walmart to pick up a few things and I excused myself to go use the restroom. I always check the sign to make sure I'm going into the ladies' room but this time I didn't get a good enough look. I paraded myself into the mens' room where thankfully no one was standing there. However, I was puzzled to only see 2 stalls in a Walmart bathroom and checked them both to find that they were occupied. While standing there waiting, I noticed two urinals and instead of realizing I was in the mens' room, the first thought that came to my head was "They can't seriously expect me to try and pee in that?!" I hope that all these non-connections in my brain were caused from pregnancy and that I have an excuse to be a little "special" sometimes. It took a few more seconds of me standing there waiting for a stall to become available that I finally realized I MIGHT be in the mens' room. I decided to walk out to check the sign. Lo and behold it was. I am so grateful that no men were standing in there when I walked in. However, I'm even more grateful that both stalls were occupied because if they had not been, than I would have done my business in there and had to wash my hands right next to a dude, or several. That would have been the most embarrassing moment of my life. Instead, it was just a medium-high threat level for embarrassing situations and I hope no one saw me go in or out of there.
