Tonight Brad, Jared, and I went to the movies to see the new Fast Five movie from The Fast and the Furious series. I was so good and I LOVED it!!! The plot, action, and stunt work were a thing of beauty. What made it even better was the theater audience which was very lively. Apparently, Chloe was a very good baby for good friends of ours who were nice enough to babysit for us. Tomorrow morning we heading to Tooele to spend time with my family and go to my sister's baby shower!

Here's Chloe being a couch potato since both she and I caught a cold. We've been enjoying watching Parking Wars and Pawn Stars. Brad was able to come home for lunch and I made a fun chicken tortilla casserole, which was very experimental but turned out really good.

Chloe got a special package in the mail today from my Aunt Holly and her family that turned out to be the cutest thing I have ever seen. It's a horse suitcase that can turn into a backpack! Chloe really loves it, but I'm plum crazy about it!!! I can't wait for her to use it. We'll be sure to take it down to Las Vegas next month when we visit Brad's parents and little sister, Krista. As soon as we pulled it out of the box, Chloe carried it all around the apartment. Thank you Holly, Derrick, Parker, and Heather!!!

Today I gave Chloe her first real hair cut. I didn't want to take off any length but I did want to tidy it up and trim her bangs since they were always in her eyes. The picture is of her right before the trim. I have been having a super great day today because I clean and scrubbed every inch of our apartment, including Chloe. I also have a pork roast in the crock pot, which smells amazing! Now we're about to leave to run some errands around town. I'm SO happy that Brad is all done with school!!!! Hip Hip Horay!! I feel like celebrating and congratulating him every day. Every day he comes home from work now he can spend time with Chloe and I and even take me out on regular dates!!

HAPPY EASTER!!!! Here's Chloe and I on our way to church! She wore her beautiful Easter dress again and everyone complimented her on it and how cute she looked in pig tails.

Today was such a great day! Early this morning Brad went on an Elder's Quorum shooting activity with all his buddies and then took his last exam. He's officially DONE with school!! (Until he starts his master's degree in a couple years). We're SO happy!! Now he's going to have so much more free time after work and on weekends. Brad and I are going to get back to going on regular dates together. It's going to be amazing. This evening, Alyssa came over and we made Easter-themed cupcakes that turned out so cute! We made little chick cupcakes and nest cupcakes with little eggs on top. We had a blast and fed Chloe a lot of leftover candy :)

Tonight Brad had his final presentation in his Capstone Simulation class and then took me on a spontaneous date to the movies. After tomorrow, he will be officially done with his bachelor's degree!!! YAY! I'm so excited to have a husband again since his school and work schedule has kept him MIA lately. It was so fun to see a late night movie tonight after Chloe went to bed and Jared took care of her while we were gone. We saw Unknown and really enjoyed it. As we were leaving the theater I ran into a little plastic ball that was rolling around. It had a big black rat in it and I figured some customer must have forgotten it. It's hard to think of an explanation for a rat rolling around in a ball in a movie theater. I was about to take it to the concession's stand as a "lost and found" but a nice couple behind me said they have seen that rat before. We came to the conclusion that it belonged to the theater and was their special pet that "rolls" around all day. Our conclusion was confirmed when I caught the eye of one of the employees who had been watching us with a smile, undoubtably enjoying our confusion and surprise at finding a rat at our feet. It was definitely a fun and memorable evening. Oh yeah, and I made strawberry shortcake this morning and have been eating it all day :)

Last night Alyssa inviting me to go see Rango with and it was so much fun! She even made amazing chocolate-covered strawberries for us to eat during the movie. I told her it would be funny if we left the theater not knowing that we had strawberry seeds in our teeth and chocolate on our face because it would be so dark. But of course, as we left (lo and behold) I had chocolate on my face that Alyssa had to point out to me. Yesterday Chloe had another appointment with her pediatrician, which went very well and she got a couple more shots (poor little Chloe). I got her a rice crispy treat at Walmart afterwards to reward her for being such a good girl. Her report shows she's had quite a growth spurt and she is now in the 53%tile on weight and 94%th in height. While we waited in the waiting room she had a blast running around with another little girl the same age. The second picture here is of Chloe trying to figure out which key opens our fire box. It was so cute to watch.

Chloe and I had the most wonderful time this weekend with my parents. We had a mini Easter egg hunt just for Chloe, played out in the grass, and I had the best meal of my life when we had dinner at Sostanza on Saturday night. Chloe loved the kitties (of course). Chloe wore her beautiful Easter dress for church today and was so cute and well behaved. We just got back home to Provo and I can't wait to see Brad.

I pulled out some of Chloe's clothes from storage that I had been waiting for her to grow into. We have some friends coming over for dinner tonight so I thought Chloe should look extra cute :)

This was taken last night after Chloe and I nibbled on a chocolate bunny that Brad gave us. Yum! It's pretty safe to say that my face looked just as bad Chloe's, but of course that's no surprise to anyone who knows me, my love of chocolate, and my inability to keep it off my face. :)

Today we had a wonderful time at church. Although during sacrament meeting , Chloe was having a hissy fit until the Butlers came and sat with us. She became the perfect angel in their laps. I told the Butlers they were my Sunday miracle :) Yesterday Brad and Jared had about 8 hours of exams but they did great. They're very excited to be done with the semester and therefore their Bachelor's degrees. Yesterday was also our ward Easter party and Chloe had a blast running around and making friends with all the other little kids. While I grabbed a bite to eat for us, Chloe managed to find the table where they were coloring hard boiled eggs and she stole one. I found her on the floor with a crushed hard boiled egg in her lap and she was eating it. It was the cutest thing I have ever caught her doing but I'm so sad I wasn't able to get a picture of it.

Having fun at the park! She loved to go exploring and then occasionally come back for a bite of string cheese. It was so peaceful and relaxing to lounge in such a huge park all by ourselves, especially since I had jogged there and got a great workout. We had 2 soccer fields, 2 baseball fields, and a kids' playground all to ourselves.

I finally found soft, stretchy pony tail holders and Chloe looks so cute! She's been so fun whenever she zips around the house and knocks on all the doors to see if anyone is behind them. She especially likes to see if Jared will come out of his room to play.
Yesterday Brad, Jared, and I decided to be a little adventerous and try Korean food since we've never had it before. It was great! Even Chloe loved it. I made sure we didn't order anything spicy so both Chloe and I could enjoy everything.
It's a little chillier today but I'm still hoping to take Chloe on a jog in her stroller.

Happy General Conference!!! We've really been enjoying conference so far today and now I'm making some gingerbread cookies for neighbors and then some chicken and cheese covered chips for us for the next session of conference. Brad's going to make some amazing hot wings too. It's always so amazing to listen to Heavenly Father's prophets and to become closer to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
This morning a book came in the mail for me to help with my medical transcription. It's a list of 200,000 surgical words. No definitions, just a bunch of words in alphabetical order. I'm super stoked to put it to the test on Monday.

Happy April 1st! Today is the most beautiful day!! This morning I took advantage of my recent love of exercise and decided to take Chloe out for a jog. Well, I jogged and she "strolled" in her stroller. We went to the park and played out on the grass. Chloe loved the feel of grass in her hands but didn't like it on touching her bare feet. She kept trying to hold her feet in the air so they wouldn't touch. After a while she liked it and decided to walk around.
Yesterday I witnessed my first car accident. Don't worry, no one was hurt. It wasn't a fender bender but it sure was a bumper crusher. Last night, I went to step class again but Kenzie couldn't make it and I was the only one there. Usually there's at least 7 of us. It was just me and the instructor for the first 15 minutes before one other person came. Our instructor is one of the sweetest people I've ever met so it was nice to get to know her a little better.
I don't believe I mentioned earlier that I got my medical transcription scores back. I got a 97% on the objective portion but I only got an 80% on the transcription portion so I have to retake it. I get to retake it a week from today so I've been studying hard.
Brad and his buddy Scott continue to workout at the gym almost every morning at 6am. Way to go! I know I couldn't get the motivation to workout that early in the morning.
